Malaga Film Festival 2013- Closing ceremony

Malaga Film Festival ended 27. April. The main event of the day was announcement of the winners, where "15 anos y un dia" was voted the best movie. The best director award went to Rodrigo Sorogoyen for his movie "Stockholm", while the best actor and actress awards went toMario Casas (La mula) and Candela Pena (Ayer no termina) and Aura Garrido (Stockholm).

The festival was closed in a big way, with many lovely outfits on the red carpet. Here are my favourites:

The best closing outfit was presented by Juana Acosta, who once again looked splendid wearing yellow gown designed by the Spanish designer Lorenzo Caprile:

The second best look was worn by Eva Marciel who looked stunning in this Carolina Herrera dark green dress. Red clutch and lipstic added a tone of sexipile to this outfit.

The third winning look of the closing ceremony was Dafne Fernandez who optioned for a really simple, but chick Oscar de la Renta black/dark blue gown.

Yellow was the most worn color of the evening. Besides Juana Acosta, three other ladies chose to wear some sort of yellow. Among them my favourite was Norma Ruiz, while Maria Esteve could have a perfect outfit if her haircut was different:

Maria Esteve in Pedro del Hierro
Other looks which I really liked were those by Toni Acosta and Elia Galera. Elia wore black Davidelfin dress with a really sexy back part and a white belt, which I thought was quite appropraute with the dress. Toni Acosta wore an elegant red dress designed by Roberto Torreta. The look was almost perfect, but her hair should look more fresh and modern.

Gwyneth Paltrow and the dress

In the same day when the People Magazine chose her for the Most beautiful woman in 2013, Gwyneth Paltrow had one of the worst evenings in her life, when she took the red carpet in  Los Angeles for the premiere of her latest movie Iron Man 3. Namely, the actress chose to wear a very revealing Antonio Berardi dress which was judged and commented all over the world.

This very risque look was a combination of several Antoni Berardi looks from the Fall 2013 collection:

When I first saw Gwynteth I thought "Wow, this wonderful!". I thought she combined the collection in a really nice manner, but on the second look I found some things I didn't like that much.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Antonio Berardi
From the front it looked interesting. But then I looked at the other pictures and it was too revealing for my taste. She does carry this elegantly and her make up was impact, but at the end I think it was a bit tacky.

I would prefer if she had covered her intimate areas. It was more than obviously that she had no underwear under the dress, and that was the main reason why this look was too much. We saw many daring looks by many celebrities: Heidi Klum, Jennifer Lopez, Toni Braxton, Lis Hurley, etc. and many of those looks were considedered sexy, but this one doesn't work for me. The sheer panel could be changed for some other material, maybe even with the same green material she has on the top.

The dress caused many controversial love-hate discussions, and although it is too revealing, a 40 years old Gwyneth Paltrow showed openly her amazing body, so this dress is going to be remembered, I think...

Film festival Malaga 2013

Malaga Film Festival opened 20. April in this beautifull Spanish city which lies on the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) of the Mediterranean. The festival was established in 1998 to promote Spanish cinema and to help disseminate information about Spanish films. However, it turned out that festival has become one of the most important red carpets in Spain.

Some of the biggest Spanish cinema personalities and other celebrities showed up in Malaga, some to promote their film work, others just to be seen.

Here are those who cathched my eye:

Best dressed award goes to actress Juana Costa who attended the opening ceremony by wearing Zuhair Murad Spring 2013 gown. Her styling looked effortless and elegant, and the light color of the dress matched perfectly her skin tone. I also liked her hairstyle which could be described as an old fashioned look, but I found it flawless:

The second best look was Megan Montaner in Blumarine Resort 2013 orange dress. Actress chose to wear one of my favorite colors, which matched perfectly both seasion of the year and Mediteranian climate in Malaga.

The third best dressed award goes to Natasha Yarovenko in Michael Cors Resort 2013 dress. You may remember that Emily Blunt wore the same dress during this years Golden Globe Awards. In her metallic gold gown, Emily was one of the best dressed of the event in February, and we can see that this dress looks equaly beautiful also in its black variation. Natasha's final touch was a small red clutch and that worked out perfectly.

Almost the best dressed award goes to Veronica Sanchez in Dolores Promesas gown. I personaly think that this dress was one of the most beautiful dresses of the festival and it fit perfectly on Veronica, who had really nice make up and accessorizes, but her hair style didn't work for me this time.

Risks that paid off award goes to three beautiful ladies who dared to play with colors and different shapes. They all looked amazing:

Sandra Cervara
The dress of the festival award,  although my eyes still don't know why, goes to the dress designed by Spanish designer Miguel Palacio for Hoss Intropia. This dress was worn twice in three days in two different colors. I liked non of these two versions:

Ana Fernandez in Miguel Palacio
Ingrid Rubio in Miguel Palacio
Elegant and beautiful but slightly underdressed award goes to:

Maria Castano in Miguel Palacio
Goya Toledo in Elie Saab
The festival is still on. These were just four first days, there is definitly more to come, and I will write about it, for sure :P

Is this collection of the season?- Roland Mouret ss 2013

Roland Mourets collection spring summer 2013 is one of the most worn collections among celebrities at the moment. And why not? Because this collection is amazing!

I like the geometrical composition of models combined with red, green, black, white and grey. Each piece of the collection looks individual but still we can see that it is a part of  Mourets SS13 presentation.

Dresses and skirts are following the body line and they have flattering impact on the ladies. However, many of these models suit best slim girls with long leggs, and that is my only negative observation:

Fashion around the world- Best moments from Moscow Fashion Week March-April 2013

The following fall-winter season would be a season of both gentle, light  and dark, strong colors according to Volvo Moscow Fashion Week.

Here are some of the best moments from this event, those that I would like to see in my closet:

Flora Mazi, fall winter 2013:

Flora Mazi pointed out that lace can look fabulous even in fall winter collection.

Lena Vasilyeva, fall winter 2013

Designer made a lovely, female collection with brighter colors, like white, rose, greenish, contrasting them often with black.

Alexandra Kazakova, fall winter 2013

Alina Assi, fall winter 2013

This collection was focussed on pastel colors and evening dresses, but there are some really feminine and beautiful cocktail dresses and  everyday combinations.
